How Children get Negative Information and Awareness that Affect their Psychological, Sociological and Behavioral Growth?

As ignorant as your children may look to you as parents, they will shock you to the bone with the level of information and knowledge they have, which have been kept safe in the memory of their computers which is the brain.
Computing and other field use this expressions GIGO(garbage in, garbage out), but for a
child's brain which function like the computer and it is more like, garbage in, garbage stays. So parents need to watch what they allow into their children's brains and when.
Talking about information children are now expose to in the name of exposure, socializing and carelessness on the part of parents and adults are 80% negative.

The bitter truth is that, sooner than you and I expect, those information will come very handy for them to use, either to your praise or your shame as a parent. 

   

A 2 years old boy who pushes to the floor a 1 year plus girl, struggling to take off her short and afterwards tries to mount on her in public at the surprising gaze and embarrassing view of everyone, just like he had seen dad and mom do it in their bedroom.. CARELESSNESS redefined!!!

The level of information children are exposed to this days are nothing but scary. Sometimes, I wonder what we(you and I) would have turned out to be, if our parents were half as careless as most 'social' parents are today.
Most of this information which does harm than good to the psychological, sociological and behavioral growth of these children can be managed to a great extent, if only parents start acting like parents and also think before they act or speak in the presence of their children or to their children..
Please, this is the 21st century not the 20th century if you have not noticed, children are far smarter, intelligent, very inquisitive, bold, too aware and always ready to experiment with or without your permission.

At age 4, some are already boyfriends and girlfriends to an opposite sex in their class, playground or neighborhood who they 'love' and kiss when nobody is watching... Guess what, it is a top secret that you won't sense even right under your nose as a teacher or parent except if you are careful enough to watch closely or one person in their peer group decide to blow the cover (let out the secret love affair).

Whatever happened to the innocence of children? Parents, media and the society(you and I) should have an answer to this question.
Keep your children as innocent as they should be at least to a point when their brains and minds are ready for some certain truth about life and sexuality....
Please, give them the privilege to believe in fairy tales(Tooth Fairies, Santa Clause and Sleeping Beauty).

How Children are Exposed to Some Information and How to Check Them
Most of these information are not necessarily bad, but when the information get to them is what makes the difference...
Ways your children get information


1.SEX EDUCATION
As a child is growing there is need for sex education, like names of his sexual organs for both male and female with caution of not allowing anybody to touch them either at home, school or play ground.. Apart from those, sex related issues or gist should be kept away from their hearing.
If you don't know how to simplify or explain sex education related topic well to your children, you will end up doing them more harm than good because everything will be left to their imagination.

Before, you think of having any sex education talk with your child, be sure you are ready to explain bit of the topic in details to the understanding of your child without leaving any stone unturned.
Your child on the other hand, should be mental ready and trust you enough to ask questions he/she is confuse about. Don't drop it like an explosive, it can be in series


2.CAUGHT in the ACT
Parents who want to do it, everywhere, anywhere and anyhow should watch it. You mustn't be caught in the act by your children. 

Whatever may have been your fantasies before you started having children, should be checked and carefully done especially for their mental sanity. In fact, if need be send them for holiday or go for vacation. The truth is, the simple sight of mom and dad in action will remain with your child forever as long as he/she is aware no matter how young.


3.UNCLES and AUNTS
When friends of uncles and aunts come around to visit, pass information or study. After a while their discussion begin to digress from the first point of discussion to some unprintable gist and the little child looking innocent and unaware start picking words like, pus**, d**k, f**k you and so on.

Your child to their should be taken to their rooms when friends of uncle, aunt and even mom and dad are around. 


4.NANNIES
Children left at the mercy of some Nannies are exposed  to so many things that strip then of their innocence when parents are away. Some can be so bad to the extent of allowing your child to watch pornography or even engage them in the sexual act when you are not at home.

Before you allow any nanny come close to your children, check their medical history or take them for all the necessary test(HIV, Hepatitis, STD s etc).
Don't relax until you are sure..tell them to watch movies on their own without your children and if you have the means set up secret cameras.


5.TECHNOLOGY
It is ok to love your children so much to get them Ipads, laptops, iphones and so on.

A 5years child was caught watching pornography on his mobile phone, is that the reason he was given a mobile phone? NO!
He was left unchecked.

Your failed parenting will be epic, if you let them use these gadgets without proper monitoring and secret investigation of their browsing history. Please, don't talk about privacy. Any child from age 0 to 18 doesn't need one, but try to watch your boundaries and don't over do things. If you child must use phones that goes online . You must also watch who they chat with, the site they visit, the groups they join and so on.
This is guide them against cyber predators, cults and bullies.


6.MEDIA
Those good old days, you will watch television from 4pm to 8pm or 9pm and you won't see a single scene of a man kissing a woman, talk more of doing anything funny. The reverse is the case right now, the media only air movies and shows that promote blood shed, rape, lack of respect for human lives, terrorism, shooting, reckless driving, prostitution and so on.

Check what your children watch thanks to media, only make available television channels that are kid friendly, while other channel should be scrabbled or blocked.
