2kg HAIRBALL Removed From a Chinese Girl's Stomach

An eight-year-old Chinese girl who throw up (vomit) after eating had a huge hairball in her stomach.
The girl from Zhoukou, in Henan Province, had also lost weight, leaving her far smaller than her classmates, prompting concern from her parents.

Fine Motor Skills From Age 0 to 5

Grasping from 0 to 3 months
At a stage in the life of a baby from birth to 3 months the sensitivity and ability to hold objects for some few seconds is developed. This is the stage when babies hold their parents' fingers. It is close to a fist grip.

Palmar Grasp from 3 to 6 months

This is also refer to as the fist grip. At this point a baby could hold an object for up to a minute with the help of his/her palm and fingers. "the whole fist".

Inferior Pincer Grasp from 6 to 9 months  


At this stage of the development of the fine motor skills a 6 to 9 months old baby can put his/her forearm on the table or a platform, uses the side of the thumb and the first fingers to pick up a small object.

Isolated index finger from 9 to 12 months

This is the stage when a baby can point to an object with only the index finger.
Self-feeding: The baby can also self feed him/herself using fingers to eat a small portion of food.

Superior pincer grasp from 12 to 15 months

This is the stage when a baby can pick up and release a small object with the help of index finger and the thumb without any support from the forearm. He/she can also turn the pages of a book.

From 15 months to 1 ½ years

At this point your baby can use the thumb, fingers and palm to hold a spoon or a crayon.

From 1 ½ to 2 years
The fine motor skills of your baby is that he/she can string large beads, attempt to drawing of circles and lines.

Digital pronated grasp from 2 to 2 ½ years

Your baby at this point can hold a crayon with the thumb and all other fingers. Learn to cut with safety scissors, eat using a fork, and also get dressed wearing any of this clothing, like hats, t-shirts, and pants with elastic-waist.
