An Australian woman went through legal process to get permission from the Australia's
Supreme Court to collect(harvest) her late husband’s sperm
after a motorbike accident that claimed his life.
This procedure is not the first of it kind, where a baby is created from a sperm taken out of a dead man. This was 18 hours longer than it was done previously in the past.

Doctors were not so sure it would be successful procedure because it took the courts two days to determine if the mother should be allowed to use her dead husband's sperm to conceive.
IVF expert, Steve
Robson, said, "On a professional level this has been, from my
perspective, a love story, and it has been incredible to be involved
with helping a woman who has so much love and courage."
The mother had to move from Adelaide to Canberra to have the procedure because it is illegal in Adelaide.
The procedure was carried out by Professor
Kelton Tremellen, who said, "One reason was
that I thought it was going to be a waste of time, and the other was I
didn’t know if it was the right thing to do.
In
the end I decided I would do it because I felt it wasn’t a battle she
should have to fight at that point when she had just lost her husband."
What do you think about this level of love?
