Rich BABIES of Instagram is the new social media trend you will love to hate as smug parents post pictures of their tiny tots posing amid wads of cash and fine jewelry

If you thought the nauseating phenomenon of Rich Kids of Instagram couldn't get any more outlandish, think again.
Rich Babies of Instagram is the latest hashtag to sweep the social media world, prompting parents to post flashy photos of their little darlings languishing in their abundant wealth to show off their opulent lifestyles.
From kicking around in wads of cash, to driving miniature versions of luxury cars and posing with spreads of expensive jewelry, these tots from around the world are set up for privileged lives, and their families want you to know it.
Never too young: Rich Babies of Instagram is the latest hashtag to sweep the social media world, with parents posting flashy photos of their privileged offspring, such as this one, captioned 'please call me rich babe!'

Several toddlers and babies are unabashedly posed with large denominations of dollar bills spread over their chests.
Others are snapped driving meticulously built child-sized BMW's and Range Rovers, which typically retail for tens of thousands of dollars.
It's all mine! Several toddlers and babies are unabashedly posed with large denominations of cash, including this Russian chap
What all of them have in common is their association to big sister hashtag craze Rich Kids of Instagram, which first gained widespread attention in 2012.
Rich Kids of Instagram - which in fact mainly consists of teens - started as a single topic Tumblr blog which encouraged Instagram users to attach the hashtag #rkoi to their ostentatious photographic displays of wealth.

The love-to-hate-it pop culture movement spawned a number of spin-offs, including Rich Dogs of Instagram, as well several spoofs.
Last year, it even inspired a novel penned by Maya Sloan, who also ghostwrote a book with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

My turn: Other toddlers are snapped driving meticulously built child-sized luxury cars, which typically retail for tens of thousands of dollars, such as these little guys, from Rich Kids of Tehran

Causal: This photo was captioned, 'Adam rolling in them hundreds #adam #nephew #$3000 #richbaby'
Modest: Admittedly this is one of the less excessive displays, but it still warranted an upload

Staycation: Much like big sister hashtag craze Rich Kids of Instagram, Rich Babies such as this one, from Venice Beach, are lording it up from a young age

Family portrait: This gentleman couldn't resist getting in on the gloating action
According to Ms Sloan's description of Rich Kids of Instagram, the novel is a 'dishy and hilarious tale about the intersecting lives of the world’s most extravagant, unapologetic-ally umber-rich teenagers'.
The year prior, E! launched #RichKids of Beverly Hills, a reality show with a self explanatory title.

Lucky boy: This snap was captioned 'Gift from his big bro!'

Why have one when you can have two? Someone's got a lot to look forward to
